Academic interests
Working on Li-ion batteries, currently focusing on silicon based anode materials. Interested also in the synthesis and development of new materials for batteries.
Academic Background
I received my Master degree in chemistry in 2006 at the Warsaw University of Technology in the field of catalysis. Afterwards I spent one year in Spain at the Department of Organic Chemistry at Cordoba University, learning about photocatalysis in the group of prof. Jose Marinas. Five years later in 2011 I started my PhD studies at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPC-PAS) in Warsaw continuing my research in photocatalysis. In a meantime, in 2009 I finished my master in Iberian Studies at Warsaw University followed by postgraduate diploma in translations. During my studies at the IPC-PAS, I was working on the synthesis of materials with photocatalytic properties.
