Academic interests
The academic interests focus on advanced energy storage technologies, particularly lithium secondary batteries and solid-state electrolytes. Research emphasizes the development of safer and more efficient batteries through innovations such as the integration of ceramic fillers, interface engineering, and enhancements in electrolyte/anode interfaces. Additionally, there is a strong focus on lithium metal applications, aiming to overcome challenges related to dendrite formation and improve the performance and longevity of all-solid-state batteries. These efforts contribute to the progress of sustainable and high-performance energy soluti
Background
I completed my Master's in Chemistry in 2019 from Keimyung University, South Korea. During my master's, I focused on anode materials for lithium secondary batteries, working with various types of anode materials such as titanium dioxide, graphene, silicon, and graphene quantum dots. Afterward, I worked as a post-master researcher and researcher at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), South Korea. At DGIST, I worked on solid polymer electrolytes, utilizing fillers such as zeolite, plastic crystals, and silica mesoballs. At KIST, I focused on the synthesis of ion-exchange membranes.
