Academic interests

I am interested in the synthesis of thin films using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), an approach which is capable of creating vast material libraries, that allow to study different material compositions within a single sample. Those are helpful for the search of new material compositions that may constitute devices with a broad range of applications. Currently, I am mainly working on praseodymium based perovskites (PrNixCo1-xO3) which could find application as electrodes in green hydrogen production via splitting water into H2 and O2.
