About the restaurant
The meeting dinner will be held at Nedre Foss Gård, a historic restaurant in magnificent riverside premises by the Akerselva river, just outside central Oslo, with roots dating back to 1220. The beautifully restored main building from 1802 is the oldest in the surrounding neighborhood. Inside, early 1900s continental décor is combined with modern, sustainability‑focused cuisine based on seasonal ingredients, and under the same roof you will also find a brewery bar, a wine bar, and a cocktail bar.
After a devastating fire in 2015, the building was carefully reconstructed in close collaboration with conservation authorities and skilled craftsmen, and was later nominated for the Oslo City Architecture Award in 2019.
