From Oslo Airport to city centre
The train connection between Oslo city centre and Oslo Airport takes about 22-25 minutes. There are two services: Airport Express Train (external link) and Vy (external link) (Line R10, R11 and L12 usually leaving from track 4). The Airport Express Train is a bit more comfortable, but also a bit more expensive. Both have free WiFi (but its better on the express train). They both take roughly the same time. You should buy the ticket before entering. The Vy ticket to Oslo City Centre is also valid on the subway, tram and busses within the city center. This is not true for the airport express train.
The prices are in the range 200-300 NOK (20-30€).
If you arrive or leave in the night time, please, check timetables in advance to see if public transportation is an option. Last trains depart from the airport around midnight.
There are typically a lot of taxis at the airport. Make sure you agree on the price with the driver before leaving the airport (all companies should have fixed prices to the city center). Prices are in the 900-1300 NOK (90-130€) range.
