Accommodation and public transport

Hotels in Oslo

There is a wide range of accommodation options in Oslo. There are usually many available rooms in September, but please book early, as all reservations are subject to availability.

All recommended hotels are located close to the tube (metro/subway), which is the easiest and fastest way to get to the meeting venue. From downtown Oslo, it takes about 7 minutes by metro, followed by a 4-minute walk to the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Oslo.

We strongly recommend using public transport instead of taxis or rental cars. The metro is safe, easy to use, runs frequently, and helps you avoid rush-hour car traffic.
