Gravitational waves are a powerful new probe of fundamental physics, offering a window into the strong-field regime of gravity and providing insight into beyond the Standard Model phenomena.

I will discuss current and future gravitational wave observatories and their potential to uncover signatures of new physics active around black holes, compact binaries, and in the early universe.

In particular, I will highlight the black hole superradiance process, dark compact objects, and cosmic strings as sources of detectable continuous, transient, and stochastic gravitational waves. Understanding these signals allows us to explore new physics inaccessible by other means.
