Meeting location and accommodation

Hurtigruten has a history of more than 120 years carrying goods and guests along the coast of Norway. We hope the combination of beautiful scenery, quality food and nice facilities will create a good atmosphere and arena for interesting scientific discussions and social networking.

The panoramic surroundings of the Norwegian coastline will be possible to explore during the breaks and openings in the program. It will also be possible to register for a guided tour in Ålesund on the 8 March.

PhD students will be asked to share cabins on Hurtigruta. Detailed information on travel and accommodation will be given participants prior to the meeting.

Expenses for DEEP members

DEEP will organise tickets and accommodation for all members. Travel and accommodation is covered. Please note that registration is binding and that cancellations after the deadline 1 February 2018 may be charged 3000 NOK.
