Academic interests
I am a primatologist. Much of my research focuses on the behavior, ecology and conservation biology of wild monkeys in Africa. Since 2005, I have co-directed a field research program on wild gelada monkeys at Guassa, Ethiopia. My research at CEES will focus on preschool children’s play behavior and gut microbiome.
