Abstract
Despite technological and social advances, researchers still eliminate potential collaborations (and the breakthroughs that can result from them) due to communication and collaboration habits that restrict and hide information and ideas. We treat openness and sharing as a destination and not a regular practice. In this talk I will motivate and review ways we can lower the activation energy for sharing and discovery while staying productive and avoiding information overload.
