We are pleased to invite all CEES members to the Annual CEES Conference and Banquet at the Holmen Fjord Hotel, 18-19 October 2011!
The event is compulsory for all CEES members (including students).
- Presentations are mandatory for Master and PhD students.
- Free bus to/from venue. Departing Blindern from behind Kristine Bonnevie's House, (Prestgårdsveien) at 07:55, 18th. of October.

Deadline for registration is set to Friday 16th. of September!
Conference
Master and PhD students will, as part of their training, present their research to date. If you are not a master/PhD student but would like to present your work, please send an email to: p.r.berg@bio.uio.no
Supervisors should assist their students/PhD fellows in preparing their presentations. Many of the students will not have completed their projects at the time of the conference, in which case they should present their work to date or plans for future work.
We will be producing a booklet of abstracts before the meeting. With this in mind, we ask that all speakers submit their abstracts to p.r.berg@bio.uio.no no later than 16:00, Friday 30th. of September 2011.
The presentations should be in PowerPoint format, and also submitted to p.r.berg@bio.uio.no no later than 16:00, Friday 7th. of October 2011.
Note: There will be free buses to/from the venue. These will depart Blindern from Prestgårdsveien, behind Kristine Bonnevie's House, at 07:55 on the 18th. of October and return from the hotel late afternoon on the 19th.
Banquet
Being gathered at this very nice place by the fjord, we will take the opportunity to enjoy a banquet on the evening of the 18 October. All costs will be covered by CEES (excluding additional bar and room service) and, of course, all CEES staff and students are welcome to this event. Dress code: formal/nice.
We remind you that attendance to this conference is mandatory for all CEES members. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance the synthesis of the Centre by convening all CEES members and associates in a pleasant setting. If you are unable to attend, please provide your reasons in the allocated place in the online form.
