Several new projects awarded to CEES researchers by the Research Council of Norway (RCN) 16. des. 2020
The application results for the RCN calls for "Researcher Project for Scientific Renewal" and "Collaborative Project to meet Societal and Industry-related Challenges" have been announced. CEES had a high success rate. Congratulations to all, we are proud of you and extremely happy that CEES had so many successful applications this year.

ERC grant for Kjetil Lysne Voje 3. sep. 2020
Kjetil Lysne Voje has been awarded 1.5 million Euros in research grants from the European Research Council (ERC). He will take a closer look at how changes in the evolution of species occur over time.

New story out in PNAS: Evolution of male pregnancy associated with remodeling of canonical vertebrate immunity in seahorses and pipefishes 14. apr. 2020
A recently published paper led by Olivia Roth (GEOMAR; Kiel) together with several members of CEES uncovers a modification of the adaptive immune repertoire of seahorses and pipefish that coincide with evolution of male pregnancy.
