Show summary
The majority of recently approved small-molecule drugs contain at least one nitrogen heterocycle.1 Among these, the 7-azaindole scaffold is recognized as a
kinase-privileged fragment and is featured in several commercial inhibitors, including the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor inhibitor Pexidartinib.2 Likewise,
1,2,3-triazoles have emerged as significant motifs in drug discovery due to their ease of synthesis and broad pharmacological activity.3,4 Combining structural
features of Pexidartinib and 1,2,3-triazoles, herein we outline our latest work on triazole functionalized 7-azaindoles.
