PharmaSafe researchers at ICPE in Montréal

Several PharmaSafe researchers attended the 33rd International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology & Therapeutic Risk Management August 26-30 in Montréal which was organized by the International Society of PharmacoEpidemiology (ISPE).

We had two oral presentations: 

  • Angela Lupattelli: Effect of Time-Dependent SSRI Exposure During Pregnancy on Child's Neurobehavioral Development by Age 5. 
  • Jacqueline Cohen: Paternal Antidepressant Use as a Negative Control for Maternal Use. 

We also presented eight posters: 

  • Anna Frank: Patterns and Predictors of Hypthyroid Medication Use and Relation to Pregnancy: A Drug Utilization Study. 
  • Eivind Ystrøm: Acetaminophen Exposure in Pregnancy and Offspring ADHD: Familial Risk and Confounding by Indication. 
  • Angela Lupattelli: Use and Avoidance of Medications in Pregnancy: An Italian Perspective. 
  • Mollie Wood: Causal Mediation Analysis in Sibling Studies. 
  • Kristian Svendsen: Can Lawyer Reports of Adverse Drug Events Affect Signal Detection in a Spontaneous Reporting Database? Investigation Through Simulatuon. 
  • Jacqueline Cohen: Agreement between Paternal Self-Reported Medication Use and Data from a National Prescription Database.
  • Mollie Wood: The Impact of Differential Exposure Misclassification on Performance of Propensity Score Methods. 
  • Lene Maria Sundbakk: Prenatal Exposure to Benzodiazepines or Z-hypnotics and Behavioral Problems at 5 Years of Age: A Study from the Norwegian Mother and Child Cohort Study.
