New article on hyperemesis gravidarum

Hyperemesis gravidarum is one of the leading causes of hospitalization in pregnancy. In this new study, women described the sickness as one of the worst life experiences they had ever had, with severe psychosocial consequences. The women also felt that their healthcare professionals did not have sufficient knowledge about the condition.

PharmaSafe PhD student Bich-Thuy Truong is co-author on the new article "Women’s perspectives on the management and consequences of hyperemesis gravidarum – a descriptive interview study".
