Researchers from the UiO:RealArt convergence environment recently embarked on an exceptional journey of collaboration aboard the iconic Hurtigruten cruise, sailing from Trondheim to Tromsø. The "UiO:RealArt Summit," brought together experts from diverse fields, including pharmacoepidemiology, epigenetics, bioinformatics, and machine learning.
The summit's primary goal was to bridge the gap between these distinct disciplines and harness the collective expertise to tackle complex methodological challenges within the field of Pharmacoepidemiology. Over the course of the journey, participants engaged in lively discussions, exchanged knowledge, and explored innovative ways to combine their skills for future projects. The stunning backdrop of Norway's coastal landscapes provided an inspiring setting for this exchange of ideas.
Participants left the summit with not only a deeper appreciation for the value of interdisciplinary collaboration but also concrete plans for future projects that promise to enhance the synergy between pharmacoepidemiology, epigenetics, bioinformatics, and machine learning.
