EPPEC, organized by the Centre for Fertility and Health and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, is a relatively new conference that has gained significant traction in Europe and beyond in since it's first meeting in 2023. This conference aims at strengthening the European research network within perinatal and paediatric epidemiology. As the conference was held in Oslo this year, our team at PharmaSafe had the honor of hosting international guests and collaborators in our home city.
Several PharmaSafe members were able to present posters on our work, including "Trimester-Specific Effects of SARS-CoV-2 Infection on Placental and Fetal Outcomes: A Target Trial Emulation using Norwegian Registry Data," by Anteneh Desalegn, Mahmoud Zidan, Nhung Trinh, Angela Lupattelli, and Hedvig Nordeng.
Nhung Trinh also presented her poster titled "Impact of the COVID-19 infection on uptake of childhood vaccines in Norway."
We would like to extend our gratitude to SFH and FHI for organizing the conference this year!
