This seminar focused on ongoing collaborative projects on perinatal pharmacoepidemiology and the OMOP common data model. The OMOP common data model combines observational data from various countries and sources into a structured and consistent format, allowing for data analysis amongst several sources.
The team consists of researchers and professors from the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Norway, and the U.K. The program for the seminar involved developing protocols for new studies, reviewing current study results, as well as brainstorming for new study ideas and funding applications.
These seminars serve as an important platform for our researchers to meet face-to-face and be able to work on projects uninterrupted. Setting aside a few days to work together and discuss goes a long way in terms of efficiency and strengthening interpersonal relationships.
The iAPOGEE project and UiO:LifeScience funded this seminar, both of which have a focus in internationalization and collaboration. We would like to thank our funders, as well as Nhung Trinh for organizing the event!
