Hi everyone, I'm Francesco Cadeo. I did my bachelor's degree in SGI — Statistics and Information Management — at the University of Milano-Bicocca, and I'm now finishing my master's degree in Biostatistics, also at Bicocca. I've just completed all my exams, so I'm fully available now to focus on the thesis.
During my studies I had the chance to work with SAS and R on a few statistical modelling exercises for clinical trials. I'm still building up my experience with them, but I'm eager to apply and strengthen those skills here on a real project. Along the way I also got interested in pharmacoepidemiology and causal inference methods, which is what brought me to this project in the first place.
I'm here to work on the OSLO-DML study, co-supervised by Professor Cantarutti from Bicocca. I'm really glad to be part of PharmaSafe and to learn how to work with the Norwegian registries in TSD — it's a great opportunity for me, and I'm looking forward to it.

My name is Beatrice, I was born in Fidenza, a small Italian town located in the Emilia region's "Food Valley." I hold a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Parma. After three years of focusing on Mathematics, I decided to pursue a more "practical" and less theoretical field of study. Consequently, in 2024, I began a master's degree program in Biostatistics at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Here in Oslo, I will be writing my master's thesis, investigating whether there is an association between opioid use during pregnancy and the risk of miscarriage. I look forward to experiencing the university environment in Oslo and getting to know the city!
