Hello everyone! My name is Rianne ten Wolde. I’m a bachelor’s student in the Netherlands at Radboud University, where I study medicine. I will be graduating at the end of August and plan to start the master’s program (the clinical years) in the summer of 2027.

I am currently part of the Honours Program Medical Sciences at Radboud, which offers additional academic challenges alongside the standard bachelor’s curriculum. As part of this program, I am doing an internship at the department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Radboudumc. There, I am working on a systematic review and meta-analysis focusing on the costs associated with preterm birth. Another part of the program is an internship abroad, which is why I will be in Oslo from the end of April until the end of August.
During my time here, I will be working on a project researching respiratory drug utilization in women with a history of preterm birth, before, during, and after pregnancy. I am very interested in the outcomes of this study and look forward to gaining valuable research experience over the coming months. I am excited for the following months!
