This visit was made possible through her connection with Associate Professor Indrė Trečiokienė, which was established during Anne Gerd's engagement with the COST ENABLE network. During her visit, Anne Gerd was able to give a talk on "The Menopause- facts and fiction" as a part of the symposium series "Lunch with Drugs". She was also able to hear lectures from other experts in the field on various topics on medications and women's health. Anne Gerd also took the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Vilnius, including a visit to a historical pharmacy.

Anne Gerd was also invited to speak at the 40th Annual Congress of the Lithuanian Pharmaceutical Association in Kaunas, Lithuania. The congress centered around the theme of preparedness and medicine shortages, with the official title: "From Shortages to Solutions: Challenges in Medicine Accessibility in the Baltic Sea Region." Anne Gerd delivered an oral presentation on "Medicine Accessibility in Norway, Challenges and initiatives before, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic," providing context and perspectives from Norway.

We are very grateful to Indre and her colleagues at Vilnius University for hosting Anne Gerd!
