PharmaTox Postdoc Mussie Ghezu Hadera was awarded a travel grant by the Norsk Farmasøyt Selskap (NFS) during its nyårsmøte 2019 on 08.01. Mussie will use the funds to present results from his investigations into the neurodevelopmental toxicity of opioids (morphine and methadone) in the 10th International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) 2019 conference to be held in Daegu, Korea, in late September.
Mussie has also been recently awarded travel grants from the Robert og Ella Wenzins legat and was one of four recipients from the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) to participate in the the 14th International Conference of the Society of Neuroscientists of Africa (SONA) to be held in Lagos, Nigeria, in late March.
