Bakgrunn

Fullførte Cand.scient-graden ved Fysisk institutt, UiO i 2003 (Utvikling av utstyr og metode for karakterisering av enkeltceller ved måling av kompleks elektrisk impedans), og har siden jobbet som forsker med tilknyttning til Medisinsk-Teknologi ved Rikshospitalet, Oslo universitetssykehus (OUS). Fast ansatt fra 2006.

Oppnådde Phd-grad i 2010 med avhandlingen "Needle Guidance in Clinical Applications based on Electrical Impedance"
