Academic interests
I am interested in the Arctic-Boreal carbon cycle, with a focus on land-atmosphere interactions and feedbacks. My research aims to quantify how changing winter weather affects Arctic-Boreal vegetation and to improve our understanding of plant physiological responses to extreme winter weather events. I combine field measurements, laboratory experiments and land-surface modelling with CLM-FATES to improve the representation of current and future terrestrial-atmosphere carbon fluxes.
