European Space Agency Glaciers_cci Project

The Glaciers_cci project attempts to establish a service for glacier monitoring from space, which aims at establishing a global picture of glaciers and ice caps, and their role as Essential Climate Variables.

The main objective of the European Space Agencys`s project Glaciers CCI is to contribute to the efforts of creating a globally complete and detailed glacier inventory as requested by GCOS.
