My research spans AI broadly, with a recent focus on agents built on frontier models and on their deployment in the physical world. My publications concentrate on representation learning in vision-language models, on agentic systems, and on whether such systems remain accountable once placed in concrete use cases.
I currently lead AURoRA, a Korea-Norway collaboration on Advancing Universal Resource-Scarce Large Vision-Language Models Towards Robust and Reliable AI (RCN grant no. 359216, 2025-2028), together with Professor Adín Ramírez Rivera.
