UiOs Sabrina Sartori elected as MRS Vice President

After a month long election period, the results are out: UiOs Associate Professor, Sabrina Sartori has been elected in the presidential line, for three years, of Materials Research Society (MRS)

The association counts more than 12 000 members from over 90 countries, and has a skilled large permanent staff.

- It is a great honour to help leading the society together with other scientists of the Board, says Sartori.

- My involvement with MRS started years back (since 2013) in various capacities as editorial board member of various publications, member of the Board in 2015-2017, organizing the MRS Fall meeting in 2020 amongst some of the tasks.

- I will serve as MRS Vice President, beginning January 1, 2022. Then I will lead the Board of Directors as MRS President in 2023, and finish the three-year term as Immediate Past President in 2024.

The Materials Research Society has a long and rich history success in launching and executing impactful grassroots programs that resonate with the materials community.
