Academic interests

My main academic interest is related to extractive metallurgy. In my PhD project, I study how heavy metals can be separated from municipal solid waste incineration fly ash with hydrometallurgical methods. The hazardous fly ash waste can be a source of valuable metal concentrate-, salt- and mineral products instead of being deposited at special landfills.

Background

MSc in Materials Science and Engineering, NTNU.
