Also this year the SMN Winter Seminar will take place in another wonderful scenario: the Norefjell mountain range!
The program foreseens a great mixture of scientific discussions from each representative research group (NAFUMA, Catalysis, LENS, FASE, Structure Physics), insights from Vebjørn Bakken on the newly born UiO:Energy centre, inspiring talk by the writer Marit Simonsen (Store norske leksikon) and many social activities (Kahoot-quiz and skiing).
This year there will also be a poster competition: Poster 4 every1 ! The theme is "Scientific Communication".
Guidelines: picture yourself explaining your research or planned work to a friend, your family or a stranger on the street using a poster. Make that poster! The poster should be understandable and interesting for someone with a non-scientific background. Why do you do exactly what you do? The posters will be evaluated on their clarity, their ability to capture the eye and of course on how well they communicate your research, or research plan.
