A July Trip to the ESRF!

A lot of people are traveling for holidays in July but for Erlend North, Tian Dai, Anders Brennhagen, David Wragg, Abilash Thiagarajan, and Alexey Koposov this July also includes going on beamtime at the ESRF!

There they measured ex situ, operando, PDF (Pair distribution function analysis and not the document format), and XAS on battery materials! The beamtime included measuring both cathode materials and graphite with a new kind of operando cell developed in collaboration with SNBL!
This was the first trip for Tian and Abilash, a great milestone for battery researchers at NAFUMA!

And with the EURO championship still going on there's going to be some football, so they paid attention to a wide range of results!
