You can have a look at the Njord annual report 2023 in pdf format here.

The report will be available in physical format from Friday, 22nd March.

FricFrac Conference 2024

The conference "Fracture, Friction, and the Onset of Geohazards" will take place in Oslo, 17-19 June 2024.

With over 30 speakers from Njord and abroad, the FricFrac conference promises to be three exciting days with sience. The conference will replace Earthflows and mark the end of the year Anders Malthe-Sørensen and Francois Renard have spent at the Centre for Advanced Study. Invitations will be sent out as soon as the program is finalized, save the dates if you wish to participate.

Njord Day and summerparty 24th of May!

We are planning the Njord day!

The aim is to have a scientifically interesting day where the purpose is to enable interactionan and share sience. The Toppsenter at Oslo Science Park has been booked for the whole day and evening.

After the scientific program there will  be time to follow up the dicussions.

We will continue with the Njord Summerparty and enjoy good food activities maybe some entertainment.........

Do you have outreach or other activities? We would like to hear about it. Send an email to Janne.

From the Administration

Thank you for responding to the ARK work environment survey at UiO. NJORD had a response rate of over 80%, which is great. We have just received the response reports and will follow up with information to the NJORD employees.

There will be Njord birthday celebration after Easter. Remember to write your name on the list by the fridge on the 3rd floor if you haven't done so yet.
