Academic interests
My interests are quite broad and ranges from experimental work (synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials), to theory (group theory, symmetry, quantum mechanical modelling via DFT), and to computational work (programming, data processing and visualization). However, in the intersection of these three lies solid-state physics, especially the electronic properties of inorganic compounds such as complex oxides.
Background
B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Materials Science for Energy and Nanotechnology in 2022 and 2024, respectively, at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo.
From 2020 to 2022 I helped bachelor students with fundamental and scientific programming in Python as a teaching assistant for B-tjenesten.
During the summer of 2022, I worked on Jupyter notebooks to be used as educational material for programming in MENA2000 and -3000 courses with an emphasis on fundamental quantum physics.
In 2023 I participated in a summer project where I investigated diffusion of vacancies and nickel dopants in SrTiO3 with DFT.
