Academic interests
I am studying minority bulk and surface proton conduction in ceramic positrodes for proton ceramic electrochemical cells. We are establishing the theoretical framework and experimental methodology for measuring protonic conductivities. The conversion of water and oxygen through electrochemical cells is an interest of mine, including liquid and solid state electrochemistry.
Background
I have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China and a master-of-research's degree in Green Chemistry: Energy and Environment from Imperial College London, UK. I studied catalysts recycled from batteries for the oxygen evolution reaction in a CO2 electrolyser and used DFT implemented in CP2K to simulate dual-atom catalysts (MXene) for the oxygen reduction reaction in fuel cells.
