Termoelektriske Silisider (TESil)Funded by EnergiX, the Research Council of Norway from 2017 - 2019 |
Participants: Elkem AS, TEGma AS, SINTEF Materials and Chemistry, UiO, UiA Thermoelectric modules based on sustainable and non-toxic silicides. The challenges for industrializing thermoelectric module is to identify the most promising material system, the consolidation process, purity of the raw materials, adequate mechanical properties, thermo-chemical stability and metallization and packaging. Therefore, the project is determined to find a new and optimized material system with maximized efficiency and durability and minimum cost, as well as develop new production system of TE materials and modules, based on silicides materials. |
