Position

The Lab Manager of the micro- and nanotechnology laboratory at UiO (UiO MiNaLab), a node in the national infrastructure "The Norwegian Micro- and Nanofabrication Facility", NorFab. In addition, I have a researcher position at the semiconductor physics group at UiO, LENS.

Academic interests

Semiconductor materials for various applications, as ZnO-GaN alloys, II-IV nitrides and Ga2O3. Thin film processing by sputtering (RF, HiPIMS and remote plasma sputtering) and structural, optical and electrical characterization. 

Background

I started at the Materials, energy and nanotechnology (MENA) program at the University of Oslo in 2010. During my masters degree I also worked part-time at SINTEF Digital (MiNaLab). In april 2020 I defended my PhD thesis entitled "Functional properties and band gap engineering of (ZnO)1-x(GaN)x alloys.
