Gildas

GILDAS is a collection of  software oriented toward (sub-)millimeter radioastronomical applications (either single-dish or interferometer) created and maintained by IRAM (Institute de Radioastronomie Millimétrique in Grenoble, France.

Use

Guildas is installed on all linux machines at the institute. To use the software you need to load a module:

module load gildas/apr24a

You also need to set the GAG_GAG environment variable to point to a directory on your home directory or your data disk. For instance:

bash: EXPORT GAG_GAG=~/gildas
tcsh: setenv GAG_GAG ~/gildas
