On the 4th of October, the European Space Agency selected the mission Euclid to be the second so called M-mission in the Cosmic Vision programme. It will be launched in 2019 and will take fantastic images and spectra of a large part of the sky over a period of 6 years.
In this seminar we will see how this mission will revolutionize cosmology and many other parts of astrophysics. We will also discuss the Norwegian participation in it.
