Fredagskollokvium: Project work based on computer game technology for the first astrophysics bachelor course? I need your help!
Frode Hansen, Professor, ITA
I need some help for brainstorming from all of you, students, postdocs, staff! This autumn the first astrophysics course for bachelor students will contain a numerical project work where the students will conduct a fictive space mission and their codes will be linked to computer game software to create what they see from the space ship. Only imagination puts limits to what you can do, but putting these limits is the big problem: we want the students to learn as much physics, astrophysics and numerics as possible without making the work load too large. This is where I need your help. I will present what the course contains, what the students are supposed to learn and the basic idea which is still at the brainstorming level.
