DEEP research school has now been concluded

The national research school Norwegian Research School for Dynamics and Evolution of Earth and Planets (DEEP) started in 2016 and was concluded in 2024/25. The research school was operational from 2016 to 2024, and all activity has now ended.

DEEP was a national research school for PhD candidates in geosciences, focusing on Earth’s deep interior and how Earth is connected to the other planets in the solar system.

The aim of the research school was to educate solid earth and planetary scientists in a holistic way, placing the Earth's structure and evolution in a comparative planetology perspective. Read more about the research school.
