Bridging Knowledge - Sharing Experiences

Our project focuses on knowledge sharing and communication at local, national, and international arenas. We aim to promote increased equity and diversity in academia through the exchange of experiences and development of knowledge. We achieve this by participating in conferences, workshops, and seminars, and by visiting competency units for gender balance and equity. Additionally, we collaborate with both local and international partners such as The Faculty of Medicine here at UiO and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH Sweden).

We actively leverage the international research networks developed in FRONT: Gender and Precarity, and Gender and Organization. In close collaboration with the central administration at the University of Oslo (UiO) the project outcomes will provide a foundation for developing initiatives targeted at all academic environments within UiO, and inspire similar efforts at other Norwegian universities.

Previous FRONT projects have generated significant interest both nationally and internationally. The FRONT book is used in leadership programs and student courses at multiple Norwegian universities and at KTH.
