The academic field of interest is development of new microextraction technology for rapid and selective isolation of drugs and peptides from small amounts of biological matrices.The microextraction technology is based on artificial liquid membranes where studies of the transport across the membranes forced by either passive diffusion (Liquid Phase Microextraction, LPME) or electrokinetic migration (Electro Membrane Extraction) are special focus areas. The technologies can be used in the field of pharmaceutical analysis, bioanalysis or environmental analysis.
