Our group has a research focus within molecular microbiology in a One Health Perspective. We study bacterial pathogens causing infectious diseases, both in animals and in humans, where we investigate host-pathogen interaction and different vaccination strategies in fish important for aquaculture. Additionally, we have a strong interest in research related to the development of antimicrobial resistance and the impact of the use of antimicrobials on the microbiome and the environment.
