Vi bruker strøm i et forrykende tempo. Et nytt materiale til bruk i strømomformere skal gi mer fleksibilitet og mindre energitap.

I fjor klarte de å få elektroner til å surfe på en bølge av plasma. Nå har forskerne også lyktes med å akselerere elektronenes antipartikkel positronet. Dermed er verden et langt skritt nærmere framtidas partikkelakseleratorer.
