Rui is a Senior Research Scientist and research group leader at the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Coal Mining and Strata Control in Beijing, China.

"A Different Look at a Goldilocks Planet" offers an early glimpse into an ongoing artistic research project developed through the REAL kunst residency at the Centre for Planetary Habitability (PHAB), University of Oslo.

The Geological Society of Norway is organizing the upcoming Vinterkonferansen 2027 in collaboration with the Department of Geosciences, which will serve as the host institution. The conference will take place on 6–8 January and will have “Unlocking the Earth, Solving the Future” as its main theme.
