Welcome to the Geosciences Student Career Day
The day is for students at the Department of Geosciences and the place is the Geology Building, mainly in auditorium 1 and 2. The Geoscientific Career Day is organised by students from iEarth, Geofaglig fagutvalg (GFU) and GÆA Norvegica.
Whether you're on the lookout for new opportunities, eager to network with professionals, or just curious about the diverse career paths in geosciences, this event is for you.
- Networking: Mingle with industry experts, alumni, and fellow students.
- Seminars: Learn how to make your CV appealing and mastering job interviews.
- Presentations: Gain insights from experts about the latest trends and research.

Program for the Career Day
The Career Day on the 22th February is an opportunity for students to gain insights, ask questions, and discover career possibilities.
The Career Day is from 10:00 to 16:00 with this on the programme:
10:15-11:00 “How to get the job”- seminar by career advisors from UiO
11:00-12:00 Mingling and stands (coffee and snacks will be provided)
12:00-13:00 Lunch (free for all attendees)
13:00-15:00 Short, informative presentations from the businesses as well as more mingling (coffee and snacks will be provided)
13:00 - CGG company presentation
14:00 – THREE60 Energy company presentation
