About the group

Understanding the development of continents, how mountain ranges and oceanic basins form, as well as how the environment and conditions for life have changed over time, is of particular interest to this research group.

We study processes in the mantle and crust through fieldwork (structural geology), isotope geochemical, and geochronological methods. The aim is to contribute to the characterization of the Solid Earth and how processes in the mantle and crust shape our planet.
