Club Science – First Edition 2022: Viking Societies & French Polar Explorations

Welcome to the Geo-Wednesday in March! This month Kirstin Krüger, Professor at Meteorology and Oceanography, will give a talk about VIKINGS.
At the General Assemble 2021 VIKINGS researcher Manon Bajard will present research on how pre-Viking and Viking societies adapted their agricultural practices to a changing climate to fresh insights into how we can improve our future food security.

The VIKINGS project Annual Meeting and Work Shop is helt 14.-15. of November. On the programme are presentations from researchers and discussions. Some lectures on Thursday are open for the public. See the programme here.

There will be an open project meeting for the VIKINGS-project team and other interested. The seminar/meeting is on Tuesday 29 January, Oslo, and are helt at Professorboligen, University of Oslo.
