Adrian Lopez Porras
I earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Universidad Nacional of Costa Rica with a final graduation project focused on a molecular and histopathological characterization of an iridoviral infection in fish. I also have a MSc focused on bacterial fish diseases and vaccination from Mississippi State University. As a PhD fellow, I am part of a multidisciplinary team focused on comparative immunology. We are studying adaptive immune responses after immunization and transplantation in a non-model fish.
