Current role and Affiliations
Clara Andersson-Rusch has been a member of the K.G. Jebsen Academy for Young Researchers since 2026. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oslo with affiliations to the K.G. Jebsen Centre for Myeloid Blood Cancer (C-MYC).
Andersson-Rusch has a PhD from NTNU and a MSc from the same institution. Her doctoral work was focused on signaling and mechanisms for apoptosis in multiple myeloma.
Research Interests and Focus
Her work is focused transcriptional and translational control at singel cell resollution in leukemias, with special interest in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Her work aims to understand how RNA expression and quantity affect cell subpopulations as a response to treatment. The main goal is to shorten time necessary for treatment evaluation and response from months to days in leukemia patients.
