Academic interests
I am a postdoc with a personal grant from FORMAS (Sweden) employed by Umeå University. As part of this grant, I am a visiting researcher at UIO for 2 years. The project evaluates how increased freshwater influxes to coasts intensify terrestrial-coastal connections, and impact coastal biogeochemistry and the quality of lower food webs (algae, bacteria, zooplankton) along Northern European coasts. I measure community composition, production (isotopic labels), PUFAs, water chemistry, gasses, etc. I combine an experimental approach with monitoring. I'm really interested in everything so don't be surprised if another subject pops up.
